BYE BYE, DOGMA!

An abstraction of a boat made out by an agreement which dissolves when in touch with water. We imprinted a dissolvable sheet with a contract stating the rules, limitations and dogmas of our design process. As designers we wanted to discuss our own rules and boundaries by destroying our creative dogmas. We didn’t sail the boat as it dissolved, such as agreements often do — as theory often does not correspond to practice.

Co-designed with Maren Bang and Fabio Salvadori. This project is the result of a one-week workshop promoted by Design Academy Eidnhoven.
